Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising

Chaos Rising is the first expansion for the game, Dawn of War 2. As the name implies, it adds the chaos faction. Besides the addition of a whole new faction, the expansion also adds a number of new units to the existing ones and a new campaign.

The campaign takes place a year or so after the events of the original. Players who finished the DoW 2 campaign can import their characters into the Chaos Campaign. The level cap has been increased to 30, so you can further upgrade their characters.
The game has excellent graphics and an innovative physics system. It also has the best cover system you would probably ever see in a RTS.
Chaos Rising is truly an epic expansion and I cannot wait to see more.

Tropico 3

Tropico 3 is a Banana Republic Simulation game. The player is put in charge of a Carribean Island during the Cold War. In the beginning the player can pick from a variety of real world dictators like Fidel Castro and Che Givare.

The player gets to design his island nation and can pick from a number of policies and can change them whenever he wants. The country could be anything from a communist police state to a capitalist anarchy. The player is also challenged to please a number of factions (e.g Nationalists, Communists, Intellectuals). Player can choose how he wants to play. He can syphon money from the country into his Swiss Bank account and live in luxury while his people starve or he could be an honest leader and lead his country to greatness. The player runs everything. Military, Finance, Education, Industry...

The game is excellent and is a must buy for fans of management and simulation games.

Good: Everything
Bad: Cant think of anything

Be gone fowl spam!

I have decided to get this blog active again, but this time im going to do it the right way. First of all, I will only have one advert on at a time and it will always be gaming themed. Second, I shall only be reviewing Games. That means that Im not going to shamelessly give good reviews to websites that I think are crap just because im being paid.

So I hope you enjoy the new Gig Gamer.
